Background
Over two million light years away, deep in the heart of the Andromeda galaxy, a cosmic conflict seethes. Ten thousand years in our own future, 6 planets nestled around the giant star Caeron provide the backdrop for adventure, exploration, and war.
The rise of high technology caused separation on the planet Andraeus. Those embracing technology stood on one side and those rejecting it on the other. The technology mongers soon found themselves in a never-ending race to create greater and more powerful technologies. Power and greed broke down the once peaceful society of Andraeus leaving only conflict and war. The technology that once promised a grand future soon laid waste to most of the planet and forever changed the people and their lands.
Several hundred years passed in which the various races of Andraeus learned to work together and rebuild their war-torn world. Technology was once again a dominant force. However, just when the scars of their own civil war finally began healing, unknown raiders from the planet Rethulim began their invasion. These tough, technologically advanced beings, known as the Hau'keen, brought with them a hatred and desire for conquest as yet unseen. Already they have gained a foothold on Andraeus and continue to spread their vile presence throughout the planet. War is once again commonplace and the future of Andraeus is anuncertain one.
